As the new generation of the Redmi Note 16 lineup seems set to be getting near, fans are getting excited. The series usually attracts attention with its youthful and eye-catching designs. We'll have to wait and see if the magic potion works this time, too. Redmi Note 16 Pro Plus is built on an aluminium frame with a shiny curved display, so overall, yes, it does cast a spell. The Pro plus variant of the new-gen Note 16 lineup uses a high-gloss glass display that is transparent and limits fingerprints. The display is a big 6.8-inch premium AMOLED with ultra-thin bezels. The screen looks sharp, boasting a 1.5K resolution with a peak brightness of up to 3200 nits. So no questions here on providing a good display quality or not. At the same time, the handset supports a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, 3840Hz PWM dimming, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision. The Redmi Note 16 Pro Plus is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, which is actually a 4 nm chip. The device comes with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal memory. All smartphones in the lineup have IP68 + IP69 water and dust resistance ratings. These also pack an optical fingerprint sensor under the screen. In terms of photography, the new Note 16 Pro Plus model comes fully loaded. It's equipped with a 200MP main camera, 13MP ultra-wide angle, and 2MP 3.5X periscope telephoto. The front is garnished with a 32MP wide front shooter that supports autofocus. The battery capacity seems slick at 7500mAh, supporting a 90W fast charge and 22.5W reverse charging.
