On the rear of the Xiaomi's Redmi Note 15 5G, the camera island seems to be making a statement, though the size may feel too much for some users. A report reveals the Redmi Note 15 to be clearing over 50 quality control tests, including a 1.7-meter marble drop. Combined with its IP66 rating, the build is reportedly tough enough to handle real-world wear and tear, a fact that's earned it the nickname King Kong Durability in regional press coverage. Up front is a display that peaks at a staggering 3,200 nits, which should help with readability under direct sunlight. Under the hood, the Redmi Note 15 draws power from a Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 platform, built on a 4nm process. We can see that it's not aimed at gamers at all, as the setup clearly prioritises efficiency over power. The Redmi Note 15 5G by Xiaomi packs a 5,520mAh battery supporting 45W wired and 18W reverse charging. So now it can also double up as a power bank. There is a 108MP main sensor with an f/1.8 aperture that captures decent images in daylight. The video feels quite basic with just 10x digital zoom. What we have seen so far. It does appear to be an affordable device that punches above its weight in build quality. The new Xiaomi Redmi Note 15 lineup is clearly challenging the Samsung A series in the open.
