Vivo Y6t entered China today with a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2. It’s a device with 5G support and a 6500mAh battery. Vivo Y6t could give you more than one day of backup. But the refills are stifled by its slow 15W input. It’s not a Si/C battery, which is why the thickness is 8.39mm. Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC (2.2GHz) pulls the load here, which is paired with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM. The Y6t also sneaks in UFS 3.1 storage. So app loading times are reduced. This newcomer has Android 16 as the default OS with Origin OS 6 as the UI. The screen on this handset is a 6.74” IPS LCD that caps the resolution to HD+ or 720p. Softer visuals are a downside, but a 120Hz refresh rate makes up for it. There’s a notch on the screen with a 5MP selfie shooter. Vivo Y6t’s main camera is only 13MP. This setup can only do 1080p video at 30 FPS. It’s definitely not meant for high-end photography. The safety rating on Vivo Y6t is IP65, dust and waterproof. And you have an SGS 5-star shockproof build. There’s a side fingerprint ID for privacy. It also has an infrared remote and a 3.5mm Audio jack. The phone’s direct competition, at least in terms of hardware, is the Samsung Galaxy A07 5G, but sadly, the Y6t is too expensive to be a good alternative.
