Vivo Y05e - aAn Affordable Entry-Level Smartphone!
Vivo Y05e is an LTE model that ranks at the very bottom on the company’s price ladder. The phone has a basic screen and a somewhat decent battery. They’ve put a 6.74” display on this new Vivo Y05e. Pixels are pushed at a high refresh rate. It’s just an IPS LCD at HD+ 720p resolution with a notch on it. It’s either 120Hz or 90Hz. Its screen fits the price, but the same cannot be said about its performance. Android 16 will be hard to run on the newcomer’s Unisoc T606 SoC, which is a 1.6GHz octa-core processor. There’s only one camera on the back, and that’s a main 8MP unit. The screen-side lens is a 5MP selfie snapper in a notch. The phone does have an IP64 rating, so it’s splash-proof. MIL-STD certification means it has been tested for drop safety too. Vivo Y05e prints 8GB RAM on the box with an asterisk. Only half of that is the actual RAM. The other half is sliced from the built-in 64GB storage. Everything runs on a 5150mAh battery inside the Vivo Y05e. There’s SD card support. It even has a fingerprint reader on the side and a headphone jack at the bottom. The hardware is pretty basic. But the price is too steep for what it offers. Vivo Y05e is easily overshadowed by devices like the Samsung Galaxy A07 and Xiaomi Redmi 17 in terms of value.
