Vivo S60 - Powerful & Stylish Device!
Vivo S60 sadly repeats the same internals as last year’s S50. Vivo S60 is built around a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, which is a 3 GHz 4nm platform. But it’s the GPU that will put this S60 on the map with an Adreno 735. They did tweak the phone design a bit, but there’s barely any difference in the optics. You still have the main 50MP lens. And there’s a 50MP periscope telephoto lens at 3x zoom with OIS. An 8MP ultrawide unit is also among those lenses, and the selfie snapper is a 50MP outsole. There’s a very small punch hole on the screen, which is a 6.59” AMOLED. It looks premium enough. Thin bezels wrap the screen, and the refresh rate is 144Hz on the Vivo S60. The older S50 had a 120Hz RR, so it’s technically an upgrade. Its resolution is 1.5K. The phone itself is made of metal and has a glass back. So the build quality is also quite premium. And they got the Vivo S60 rated for IP68/IP69 waterproofing. The OS, of course, is Origin OS 6. That’s a fork of the Android 16 core system, made by Vivo. Now, it’s not a flagship phone by any means, but they were generous enough to put an ultrasonic fingerprint reader on the screen. There’s dual speaker audio too, and WiFi 6. Its battery is a 6500mAh Si/C with 90W charging. Vivo S60 has every bit of hardware to compete with the likes of Samsung Galaxy A57. But the latter does take the cake in the software department.
