Xiaomi 17 Ultra - New Camera Beast Is Here The upcoming Xiaomi 17 Ultra is to succeed the previous Ultra models, including the Xiaomi 14 Ultra and 15 Ultra. Obviously, the handset brings its share of improvements and new features. The Xiaomi 17 series consists of four smartphones: The Xiaomi 17, 17 Pro, and 17 Pro Max debuted in September, and the 17 Ultra is set to arrive in the coming months. The Xiaomi 17 Ultra remains the most mysterious one at the moment. According to available information, it should benefit from an early global launch, unlike previous Ultra editions. This strategy could allow Xiaomi to quickly compete with international giants in the premium segment. For its part, the Xiaomi 17 Ultra can offer a 50MP 1-inch wide sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, another 50MP telephoto, and finally a 200MP 1/1.4-inch periscopic telephoto lens. This configuration is further complemented by a 50MP front sensor from OmniVision. The Xiaomi 17 Ultra makes full use of Leica lenses and a new focal technology promising very high-quality photos. There is a good chance that the smartphone could be equipped with accessories like its predecessors to offer a better grip and different lenses. It is still pretty much hidden, and we need to wait before making any assumptions. It is also said to be accompanied by LTPO AMOLED screens with a resolution of up to 2K and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The camera promises high quality with multiple options and improved artificial intelligence. Connectivity is also a strong point of the Xiaomi 17 Ultra, with support for Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC and UWB compatibility intended to enrich the connected uses of smartphones.
