Vivo Y29 256GB - Full Of Latest Features! Vivo Y29 already had a 128GB version in Pakistan, but the model you see here adds 256GB storage to the phone. Of course, it brings up the price as well. The RAM is still 8GB, so that hasn’t changed. It goes without saying that the specs are also identical to the original Vivo Y29 128GB option. The phone is built around a 6.68” IPS LCD that’s only HD+ in resolution. A 720p display means only 264ppi, which may bother you if you are a pixel peeper. This handset does make up for it with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1000 nits peak brightness. Vivo Y29 256GB is a midranger by design, so its screen has a layer of Schott Glass. The phone itself is IP64 with a military-grade shockproof build. Those cameras on the back are 50MP (Main) + 2MP (depth). That selfie camera on the punch hole is 8MP. The Snapdragon 685 chip that Vivo used on the Y29 was a midrange silicon back in the day, but it’s worse off now. We put this chip in the entry class at best. The 256GB storage is still eMMC 5.1, so nothing’s really changing performance-wise. There’s only Bluetooth 5.0 and WiFi 5 here. The fingerprint is obviously on the side. It does have Hi-res audio but no 3.5mm audio port. Two stereo speakers fire sound from the top and bottom. And the battery is 6500mAh with 44W backup. Vivo Y29 has better specs than the Samsung Galaxy A07, but it’s still behind the Galaxy A17. Vivo Y29 256GB is the sweet spot between the three competitors.
