Oppo A6k - Premium Design Phone!
Oppo A6k had a low-key launch in Pakistan, and three variants were dropped in the local market. They have the same storage, but the RAM varies as you go up. The version you see here features 4GB base RAM with 128GB storage. It is an entry-level device by all means. The design looks premium enough, but the display is just an IPS LCD with a 6.75” size and a 120Hz refresh rate. The backlight is quite bright at 1125nits (HBM). There’s an SD card slot in case you find the storage isn’t enough. It may look as if there are two rear cameras on the Oppo A6k, but only a single 13MP camera will take photos. Then comes a 5MP selfie camera on the flip side. There’s no latest Android 16 for the Oppo A6k. This newcomer sticks to the older Android 15 with Color OS 15. The chip is an ancient Snapdragon 685 with Adreno 610 GPU. So the gaming performance will suffer. The battery is 6100 mAh. That’s plenty for full-day usage. Oppo A6k is pretty sluggish at charging, though, at 15W. At least the cheap device has a sturdy design with an IP64 rating. Of course, the fingerprint reader is on the side. And you also have Dual-band WiFi 5 with Bluetooth 5 card. Oppo A5k is priced in the same range as the Samsung Galaxy A07, but the Chinese phone maker obviously needs to work on its software updates to compete with Samsung.
