Honor Play 10 - Entry Level Budget Phone!
Honor has just unveiled an entry-level smartphone called the Honor Play 10. Unlike its Play series, including the Play 10 C that launched a month ago in China, this phone only supports 4G and runs the Android Go edition. It is powered by the powerful Helio G81 processor. It will land in 3GB/64GB memory options which is quite small, but we have seen phones with this amount of RAM running full Android rather than Go (including the Play 10C). In any case, it’s better than the Play 9A, which used the Helio G36 processor. Plus, the storage can be expanded via microSD cards up to 1TB. The Play 10 has an LCD screen that's 6.74 inches, which has a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. There is a selfie camera of 5 megapixels in the notch located at the front panel and another camera of 13 megapixels on the back. The cameras use 1080p video recording. The phone is powered by a 5,000mAh battery that is limited to a basic USB-C 2.0 port that supports just 10W charging. It comes with basic water resistance (IP52), its dimensions are 167.7 x 77.7 x 8.55 mm, and its weight is 189 g. It is available in three colors: blue, purple and black. In addition to the microSD card slot, you’ll be pleased to know that the Play 10 also has a 3.5mm headphone jack and FM radio. There’s a fingerprint scanner on board, but no NFC support. The Honor Play 10 is expected to shake the floor when it comes out the door, with the amazing features and price tag I'm sure it will have, it's a serious contender against Samsung and other well-known smartphone brands.
